Who are you?

Hello!

I’m Saul — I created (or adapted) most of the content in this masterdoc. I help run OPTIC, which builds infrastructure for university-level forecasting. I thought it’d be great to have a packet of materials and guides for students interested in starting and growing robust forecasting clubs, so I built one.

I’m really, really excited that you’re thinking about forecasting clubs, and I’d love to hear more about your thoughts. You should strongly consider saying hi with a quick chat, even if you don’t have anything in particular to talk about!

Cool, but why should I reach out?

Some questions I’ll likely ask:

How do I reach out?

If you need help with anything, you can always book a meeting with me or email [email protected]. Additionally, you can join the OPTIC Slack — this is where everything that students are involved in will happen. We’re always happy to help out, whether you have some particular, specific question, or you’d just like to chat!

You can also always find our contact at opticforecasting.com/contact — feel free to direct others there!
